September 17, 2026‑ The plenary session of the 29th Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology (CSCO) Annual Conference kicked off in Jinan, Shandong Province. Centered on the theme “Upholding Standards, Innovating with Digital Intelligence”, the Conference brought together nearly 20 academicians as well as domestic and international oncology clinicians and R&D specialists to discuss cutting‑edge concepts and therapeutic modalities for cancer diagnosis and treatment.
On the morning of September 17, under the chairmanship of Professor Jiang Zefei, CSCO President‑Elect, Professor Qin Shukui, Chairman of the CSCO Steering Committee, announced the list of award winners, showcasing landmark annual achievements in Chinese clinical oncology. Among the prize-winning achievements, two Phase III studies of iza‑bren® (BL‑B01D1) received the 2026 Innovative Research Award.

Both studies, PANKU‑Esophagus01 and PANKU‑Breast02, were delivered as oral presentations at the CSCO Annual Conference on September 18. The concurrent recognition of these two Phase III trials in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and triple‑negative breast cancer underscores the academic recognition of iza‑bren® for its innovative merit and clinical significance.
